I usually try out whatever I recommend to my patients beforehand.  This remarkable pain patch (called a Power Strip) is no different.

I have a herniated disc in my low back. I’ve had it since I was in my 20’s. One three occasions I failed to heed my own advice (ignored the advice I would have given myself as a patient). That is “Don’t lift more than 20-30 lbs and no repeated bending and lifting, no snow shoveling, etc”. Each time I’ve really over done it I’ve ended up in the ER in need of some powerful knock-you-out pain medications.

But most of the time I’m pain free. If I sit for too long working on the computer it does sometimes aggravate the disc and I’ll get some low back, hip and leg aching pain. Not often, but if I sit too long it’s predictable. Until I started using these pain patches called “Power Strips” that is.

Here’s a short video in which 4 chronic pain sufferers describe the relief they’ve gotten with Power Strips.
