What is FSM?

Nerve cell impulses in our brain, spinal cord and peripheral nerves are the basis of a communication system that controls and regulates body functions. Beyond the nervous system, researchers have discovered another form of communication in our body that is distinct from nerves.

Very low intensity electrical currents flow through all the body’s tissues and form an electronic communication system within. We are now able to tap into this electronic system to promote healing.

At first it seems unrealistic that one type of therapy could help so many ailments.  That is until you understand that FSM doesn’t treat these ailments directly.

FSM works by normalizing body functions and restoring tissues to health.  When this is successful the ailment disappears or at least improves.

How does FSM work?

Frequency Specific Microcurrent treatments involve running very low intensity currents through the body.  These currents are run at specific frequencies.

The frequencies are varied to target specific body functions, conditions or processes (inflammation, scarring, fibrosis, congestion, allergic reaction) and to target a specific organ system, organ or tissue (nerves, muscle, immune system, skin, tendons, ligaments).

What does the doctor do?

The doctor’s task is to identify the correct frequencies to use based on an accurate diagnosis of what is causing the patient’s symptoms.  Then the frequencies are run through the affected tissues.  Response to treatment usually occurs during the treatment.

Conditions are usually not reversed immediately, but take a series of treatments–with some further improvement during each treatment.  Some more severe or long standing conditions may only be relieved by FSM.  In these cases the doctor may recommend home treatments on an ongoing basis.
